When you register and use Seeze, we collect

• Account info: name, email, phone number, city, address, ZIP code
• Seller business info: business name, GST/PAN, bank account, IFSC, categories, service radius
• KYC documents: PAN card, Aadhaar, selfie and business proof for seller verification
• Order data: requirements, reference images, chat messages, delivery address
• Payment data processed via Razorpay - we never store card or UPI details
• Location data when you choose to share it for delivery or business location
• Usage data: device type, IP address, pages visited and session timestamps

How We Use Your Information

• Process orders, escrow payments, settlements and wallet transactions
• Verify seller identity and business details through KYC
• Enable order communication between buyers and sellers within the app
• Coordinate delivery, generate OTPs and track order status
• Display seller ratings, reviews and public seller profiles
• Detect and prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and policy violations
• Send order updates, OTPs and transactional notifications

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited sharing occurs as follows

• Razorpay - payment processing (governed by their Privacy Policy)
• Cloudinary - secure storage of product photos, KYC documents and snaps
• Delivery partners - name, delivery address and OTP only, for order fulfillment
• Buyer/Seller in an order - name and order-related messages within the app only
• Seeze admin team - for KYC review, support tickets and dispute resolution

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security practices

• All data transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption
• Passwords are hashed - never stored in plain text
• KYC documents are stored securely and accessed only for verification purposes
• Payment card data is never stored on our servers - Razorpay handles it
• Access to sensitive admin functions is role-restricted

Your Rights

• Access - View your profile, order history and seller data anytime
• Update - Edit your profile, business details or preferences from Settings
• Delete - Request account deletion by contacting support
• Opt-out - Unsubscribe from non-transactional notifications

Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential cookies necessary to run the platform

• Authentication session cookies required for login
• Preference cookies such as theme and language settings
• No third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies

Minor Users

Seeze is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and accounts found to belong to minors will be removed.

Data Retention

• Account data - Retained until deletion is requested
• Order and chat data - Retained for record-keeping and dispute resolution
• KYC documents - Retained as required for compliance and verification
• Payment records - Retained as required by applicable regulations

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Seeze after changes constitutes acceptance.
